Harrison Ford working in Wisconsin?

Yes, it's true! The guy who is widely known for his portrayal as Indiana Jones actually spends time in the "Badger State." Harrison Ford is an experienced pilot and Chairman of the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) Young Eagles program, based in Wisconsin.

The popular actor is only the third person to sit as Chairman of the program. Ford is filling some pretty big shoes, as he takes over for General Chuck Yeager. Yep, he's the guy who broke the sound barrier! Before the famous combat pilot, Academy-award winning actor Cliff Robertson lead the pack as the first Chairman.

The Young Eagle program gives kids the opportunity to share their passion for flight and to realize how they can learn the skills they need to participate in aviation. Plus, they get the added bonus of knowing Indiana Jones is at the helm! As Chairman, Ford promotes the EAA Young Eagles program when possible and plans to attend the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh Fly-In in northeast Wisconsin. Ford has flown hundreds of Young Eagles since becoming involved in the program in 2001. I got some of this info from EAA so I figured I'd give'em a shout out.
